Aunt Ann was the most courageous person I’ve ever known. She was always kind and welcoming to us whenever we were together. Everyone who knew her loved her.

I remember walking home from school to my grandmother's , I remember how all the food she made and served had the best taste ever, most importantly I remember her smile and her love she put on me!
I'll miss you Grandma and I'll never forget you,I can only hope I get to see you again in heaven

I found this copy of a poem my Mom had with her always.
Felt it is only right that I post this to share. It will give all a true understanding what kind of person she was.

When I must leave you
When I must leave you for a little while
Please do not grieve and shed wild tears
And hug your sorrow to you through the years
But start out bravely with a gallant smile;
And for my sake and in my name
live on and do all things the same.
Feed not your loneliness on empty days,
But fill each waking hour in useful ways,
Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer
And I in turn will comfort you and hold you near;
And never, never be afraid to die,
For I am waiting for you in the sky!

With all my love Mom,
Always and forever your proud daughter.
Danita

I never got the chance to meet you, but I feel I knew you so well through the gracious heart of your daughter Danita. You raised her well and you were her rock and she loved you so....the love and guidance you gave her, she will cherish forever. May you now rest in peace and join your husband with the Lord in heaven walking together. May our thoughts and prayers comfort your family with beautiful memories, and know you were blessed with all the love she gave to you. Our deepest sympathies, Gordon and Kay Thompson
