M. Marlee DeRudder, 89, of Moline, IL, passed away peacefully Friday, September 3rd, 2021 at her residence in Montgomery, IL.
Marlee was born on July 11,1932, the daughter of the late Earl "Clif" and Lissa (Smith) Dennis.
A visitation is to take place on Thursday, September 9th, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm with a prayer service starting at 2:00 pm at Wendt Funeral Home, Moline, IL. Interment will follow immediately at Rose Lawn Cemetery, Moline, IL.
A second Memorial Service for M. Marlee DeRudder will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, September 19th at the Boulder Hill Neighborhood Church of the Brethren located at 155 Boulder Hill Pass, Montgomery, IL 60538.
Marlee graduated with the Class of 1950 from Moline High School. On July 12, 1950, she married Kenneth DeRudder and they had four children. As her boys were growing, Marlee was active in the Scouting organization. She was a member of Boulder Hill Church of the Brethren in Montgomery, IL, and she enjoyed spending winters in Arizona as well as painting as a hobby.
Surviving Marlee is her husband Ken; sons: Greg DeRudder and wife Diane (Becker) of Oswego, IL; Randy DeRudder and wife Glenda (Krueger) of Cudjoe Key, FL; seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Two sisters, Bonnie Guthrie, Milan, IL, Lavora "Lollie" Scherer, Moline, IL; three nieces and four nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons; Kevin DeRudder and Christopher DeRudder.
